External Service Access:

• We request access to Gmail, Google Drive, and Dropbox exclusively for reading your media files
• Access tokens are stored exclusively within the app on your device
• We only obtain read-only access to files, without the ability to modify or delete them
• For YouTube, we process videos from links you provide for personal use only

Media File Processing:

• Audio and video files are temporarily uploaded to our servers for transcription
• All files are automatically deleted from our servers 3 days after processing
• Completed transcriptions are sent back to the app and stored locally on your device only
• We do not save, store, or analyze the content of your files on our servers
• No transcriptions are stored on our servers

Analytics Data:

• We use Firebase to collect anonymous usage statistics to improve app performance
• We use RevenueCat for subscription management and purchase analytics
• Data is collected about app feature usage and time spent in the app
• Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be linked to individual users
• Analytics collection cannot be disabled by users

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively for:

• Providing audio and video transcription functionality
• Accessing your media files from connected services

4. Data Storage and Processing

• All transcriptions are stored locally on your device only
• Media files are temporarily processed on our servers and deleted after 3 days
• Access tokens to external services are stored only in the app on your device
• You maintain full control over your transcription data at all times
• You can delete transcriptions anytime within the app on your device
• If you delete the app, all transcriptions are permanently removed as they are not stored on our servers

5. Third-Party Services

Our app integrates with:

• Gmail (read-only access to media files)
• Google Drive (read-only access to media files)
• Dropbox (read-only access to media files)
• YouTube (processing videos from user-provided links for personal use only)
• Firebase (analytics)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)

We do not share personal information with other third parties, except as described above for analytics purposes.

6. YouTube Content Usage

When you provide YouTube video links for transcription:

• The transcription is intended exclusively for your personal use
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to transcribe the content
• We do not encourage or facilitate copyright infringement
• Users must comply with YouTube's Terms of Service and applicable copyright laws

7. Limits and Subscription System

Free Users:

• New users receive 60 minutes of transcription for testing the app
• This limit may be changed without prior notice

Subscribers:

• Available subscription plans for weekly, monthly, and yearly periods
• Each plan provides a specific number of transcription minutes
• Minutes reset and renew at the beginning of each billing period
• The number of minutes provided may be changed
• Unused minutes do not carry over to the next period

8. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously and have implemented comprehensive security measures to protect your information:

Data Protection Mechanisms:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers uses industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption protocols to prevent unauthorized interception

• Delete any transcriptions at any time directly on your device through the app
• Cancel your subscription at any time

Please note that analytics collection cannot be disabled.

10. Children's Privacy

Our app is not specifically directed at children. We rely on Firebase and RevenueCat for analytics collection, and we follow their respective privacy policies regarding users under 13 years of age. 12. Google API Services User Data Policy

Speech Scriber's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google Drive API Usage:

• We request read-only access to your Google Drive files solely to allow you to select and transcribe audio and video files
• We only access files that you explicitly select through our app interface or Google Picker
• We do not access, read, modify, or delete any files without your explicit selection
• Data obtained from Google Drive is used exclusively for providing transcription functionality

Gmail API Usage:

• We request read-only access to your Gmail to allow you to access and transcribe audio and video attachments from your emails
• We only access email attachments that you explicitly select for transcription
• We do not read email content, metadata, or access emails without your explicit action
• Data obtained from Gmail is used exclusively for providing transcription functionality

Limited Use Compliance:

• All data received from Google APIs is used only to provide and improve user-facing features of Speech Scriber that are visible and disclosed to you
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve our transcription service, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable laws
• We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable laws
• We do not use Google user data to train AI or machine learning models beyond providing personalized transcription features for you
